Theme Interpretation

COP30 convened in BelΓ©m, Brazil in 2025, emphasizing the global imperative to transition from setting climate targets to concrete implementation. In January 2026, the High Seas Treaty officially entered into force, establishing the first multilateral mechanism to protect two-thirds of the world's oceans.

The competition features four thematic tracks focusing on Circular Economy, Ocean Ecology, Climate Adaptation, and Biodiversity, with three designated design directions per track. An additional Open Track encourages free creative exploration centered on environmental themes.
